I know that I will feel better if I lose weight. Not because I will be a gorgeous babe, but because I will have more energy if I have less to carry around. Clear out the baggage: in this case, the saddle bags.
I know that I will not lose weight unless I exercise. I know that exercise will make me feel better.
I know I will not run a marathon, although that sounds really good.
I know that nothing is stopping me from walking out the door and around the block --- nothing but me.

Kathy,
I saw your comment on my MyBrownBaby post and thought I would stop by. This is the first of your blogs that I've visited, and I was really moved by this particular post. It has inspired me to do a "Things I Know" post...on my bathroom window. I don't know you, but I'm very proud of you for recognizing that you really do deserve all the love you're trying to give yourself right now.
Oh girl I'm so with you, I have all the right attention to going out there and loosing the wait but I'm just not with the program yet. I think if I could strap them all to me I could use the extra weight ... LOL. Just like lifting weights right?
Oh a puppy now that would make Rick and my hubby happy. I've always thought it would be extra work, but I'm thinking with it would be worth my piece of mind to have someone that actually appreciates what I do for them. Great idea Kathy :).
Kathy you crack me up about the potatoes, that is so what happened to me on Thanksgiving day! That would so be my mom to, love her to death man sometimes!
Happy Sunday to you!
Just stopped by from SITS to say hi. I love your blog title, and this post, especially. It can be so hard to take action on those things we know sometimes, can't it?
I've rarely been super successful at changing habits on my own...that's why I like to join up with a group of friends. The accountability is awesomely helpful to me.
Hope you, too, have supportive people around you!
